Black & white print of a photograph showing LST–516 (U.S.S. Calaveras County) sailing along an unknown coastline. The ship appears to be carrying a boat on the main deck. The forward two davits are loaded with an LCVP (port) and another boat (starboard) while the rear two are empty. Several groups of sailors in dungarees can be seen standing along the rail of the main deck near the bow and stern. The ship's number is stamped in gold lettering at the bottom and a copyright mark for "O.N.I." (Our Navy, Inc.) is printed in the bottom right corner.
